The successful candidate will have;

  • The ability to establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model;

  • An understanding of the various barriers to learning, particularly in relation to those that would affect behaviour.

In addition, the following personal qualities;

  • To be empathetic and a good listener;

  • To be encouraging and motivating;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

A warm welcome to Kelvin Hall School. We are a large mixed secondary school of approximately 1500 pupils aged 11-16. Kelvin Hall School is an exciting and enjoyable place to learn, where relationships between staff and pupils are positive and happy.
