What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an exceptional and inspiring Music Teacher to join our outstanding team. Our thriving Music Department continues to grow, with students excelling at both GCSE and A-Level Music. We offer a diverse range of vocal and instrumental ensembles, including Gospel Choir, Chapel Choir, Junior Chorus, Tour Choir, Wind Ensemble, String Ensemble, Rock School, and Orchestra.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality music lessons across all key stages. We expect them to contribute enthusiastically to the wider musical life of the school, including concerts, performances, and whole-school events such as the Carol Service at the end of the Autumn term.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Teach music across all key stages, including A-Level
  • Inspire and develop students’ musical talents
  • Contribute to the continued success and growth of the Music Department
  • Bring creative and dynamic ideas to enhance the curriculum
  • Lead and support school ensembles, rehearsals, and performances
  • Work within a strong, collaborative, and supportive team
  • Be an impactful form tutor, supporting students’ academic and personal development
