1:1 Child Specific Teaching and Learning Support Assistant

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: Band C, full time equivalent salary range: £24,702 to £27,334. Actual salary for working 32.5 hours over 39 weeks is £18,600 to £20,852 per annum.

Part-time: 39 weeks per year, term time.

Hours of work: 6.5 hours per day to meet the needs of the child; Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week, 8:30am – 3:30 pm (30 mins unpaid lunch break)

Contract: Fixed term – this role is attached to a specific child and will end when the child leaves the school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a creative, caring practitioner who is dynamic, passionate and able to work collaboratively in a team and is committed to delivering outstanding quality care and provision
  • Have experience of working with SEND pupils
  • Have enthusiasm for working with children and developing their individual skills and knowledge
  • Be a professional who is able to work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders
  • Be an excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
