£19,188 - £20,451 (Based on 32.5 Hours)

What skills and experience we're looking for

Hinchliffe Mill Junior and Infant School are looking to appointment enthusiastic, caring and organised 1:1 Educational Teaching Assistants for a pupil with SEND from September 2025

We are seeking to appoint highly skilled and motivated members of staff to work as part of a team supporting a child in our Year 3/Year 4 Class with an Education Health and Care Plan.

If you are:

  • Experienced in working with children with communication and interaction needs
  • Able to support children in developing their self-care needs to become independent young people
  • Looking to work in a supportive team where ongoing training is prioritised
  • Able to have a positive attitude and a child focussed approach to meeting children’s individual needs
  • A motivated, hardworking and resilient practitioner
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Looking to develop or begin your career in a school setting
  • Someone who can take initiative and be innovative
  • Willing to become involved in all aspects of school life
