• Working pattern: Full time, part time (Can be done as a job share): Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.00.pm with 30 minutes lunch. Total of 35 hours per week.
• Contract type: Fixed term - 2nd November 2026 to 31st August 2027
• Pay scale: A1/ B1

What skills and experience we're looking for

This post will be to work 1:1 with a child in Reception/KS1 classes and is a fixed term contract for 1 year and will also include lunch duties.

Experience of working with children in the EYFS/KS1 phase, and those with SEND, would be desirable; as would any specialist training such as STARs.

The successful candidate will:

• be able to motivate and engage children
• be able to form professional and nurturing relationships with children
• demonstrate a calm, proactive approach to behaviour management
• work effectively in a team and build positive relationships
• be able to apply good organisational and communication skills
• be able to use their initiative, learn and adapt
• have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
