1:1 Learning Support Assistant
Scale C4 (£23,114 per annum pro rata)
Actual salary £17,385 per annum
Part- Time, Temporary (pupil specific)
32.5 hours per week
Term time plus one week
We need a passionate and determined Learning Support Assistant to work with our wonderful pupils. One position will be available for a year 4 pupil and another position is available for a pupil in reception class. You will be required to accompany the children throughout lunchtimes.
You will:
Be a kind, caring person, who knows that children learn best in an inclusive environment.
Have experience in working with children with different learning needs, particularly experience of working with children on the autistic spectrum, ADHD and social and emotional challenges.
Be flexible and adaptable.
Have experience of how to use creative and innovative strategies to engage children in school life and learning.
Have patience and resilience when dealing with children who demonstrate challenging behaviours.
Have excellent communication skills.
Be able to work individually and as part of a team.
