1:1 Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are looking to recruit a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support the learning of a child with SEN in KS1. You will work under guidance of the teacher and the SENCO.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable person with a calm and patient approach and the ability to think on their feet, to join our supportive friendly team. You should
- have experience of working with children with varying needs
- be able to form positive relationships and can liaise with the teacher and SENDCo
- be patient, positive and resilient
- be happy to undertake personal care
You should have practical experience and good communication and written language skills to support the learning of children, along with the ability to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
