We are looking for an outstanding and motivated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant who has the energy and drive to support the communication and interaction needs of a child on a 1:1 basis, facilitating their inclusion within the classroom and delivering specific, targeted interventions.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Patient, nurturing and genuinely enjoy working with children
  • An excellent communicator with a positive proactive approach
  • Able to follow guidance while also using initiative
  • Adaptable and able to respond the child’s individual needs
  • Able to work as a member of a team
  • Able to understand confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Confident with using IT
  • Experienced in supporting children with ASD or Communication and Interaction needs

In the first instance, the contract is for 28:45 hrs per week and we would like to appoint someone to join us as soon as possible. We retain the right to interview early if the right candidate applies. The role is 08:40 am – 15:20 pm.
