What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work afternoons on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with SEN pupils in our EYFS class in receipt of top-up funding.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience of working with children in an educational setting ideally with pupils with SEN needs.
- Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to use own initiative.
- Have a good standard of general education evidenced by three or more GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above, including English and maths, as well a minimum of a level 2 certificate in supporting teaching and learning.
- Have good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.

Worle Village is a small primary school with a large community feel which Ofsted judged to be ‘good’ in February 2022 quoting ‘there is a caring, nurturing, family atmosphere at Worle Village Primary.'
