What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and caring person to join our team of lunchtime supervisors to support specific pupils with additional needs at lunchtime. This post is attached to the top-up funding for a specific pupil at the school and as such if the child should leave the school or the funding should cease the post would end.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of working with or caring for young children and be able to relate to and enhance the children’s experiences.
- Be a positive, approachable, flexible and adaptable person.
- Be a strong team player.
- Be able to use own initiative and be proactive to ensure pupils have memorable experiences at lunchtime.
- Have experience of working with or caring for children with additional needs.

Worle Village is a small primary school with a large community feel which Ofsted judged to be ‘good’ in February 2022 quoting ‘there is a caring, nurturing, family atmosphere at Worle Village Primary.'
