1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant Level 2
We are looking to recruit for two positions - one of 27.5 per week Monday to Friday 9am-3:00pm, and a further position of 16.5 hours a week but are happy to consider job shares for either role.
Fixed-term Contract until 31/08/2027, to support a non verbal child with individual needs, therefore lots of experience with working one to one with SEND is required.
38 weeks per year
Grade D3, £24796 FTE (£15,461.62 actual per annum).

As such, we are seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant who can inspire, motivate and support a non-verbal child on a 1:1 basis mostly outside of the classroom.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who:
- Has a good knowledge of SEN Provision
- Is confident, resilient, and dedicated
- Has previous experience of working with and supporting SEND children of relevant age in a school environment.
- Has good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
- Has good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Has the ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
- Has a personal commitment to on-going professional development
