1:1 SEND Support Teaching Assistant - Fixed Term Contract job summary

Wixams Tree Primary is looking to recruit a 1:1SEND support (Unqualified/Level 2/3).

The successful candidate will need to work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the child whom you are assigned, to enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them and access learning, in accordance with the School’s Policies, procedures and EHCPs.

NVQ level 2/ 3 or for teaching assistants/Early Years practitioners or equivalent qualifications are preferable. Unqualified candidates are welcome to apply.

This is a fixed term position.

Salary: £22,280 - £23,453 (actual £15,483-£16,298)

Hours: 32.5 hours

39 weeks per year (term time only)

Fixed term contract until 31st August 2024.
