SEND Teaching Assistant job summary
Salary: Level 2A NJC Scale 3-4, dependent on experience
Hours: 31.25 hours per week over 5 days, term time only (8.45am to 3.30pm, including 30-minute lunch break). Lunch duty cover is included in the above hours.

Harlington Lower School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work as part of our dedicated professional team. This role will involve working with pupils with an EHCP to access teaching and learning experiences. This will involve both 1:1 work and working with small groups of children. The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality care and education for all children who attend this values-based setting.
The successful applicant will demonstrate experience of working with children with special educational needs and have a commitment to promoting equality and diversity. You will be resilient, patient, and possess strong communication skills. Working collaboratively as part of our team, you will use sound judgment and common sense to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.
