1:1 Teaching Assistant

Level: Level 2

Pay Point 4 - 6 (Dependent on Experience)

18.75 hours per week (Monday – Friday 11.45 – 3.25), Term Time only

Required: 4th Sept 24

Temporary Position

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants experienced in working with young children in our Key Stage one and Key stage two classrooms. We are looking for someone who can offer general classroom support and also care and support for a child with higher levels of need.

Has experience in supporting children with higher levels of need

Is interested in supporting children with social and emotional needs

Has a therapeutic and nurturing approach to supporting children and behaviours

Is an excellent classroom practitioner

Is resilient, proactive, creative and enthusiastic

Has high expectations for all children and for their own practice

Is able to work as part of a successful team

Milton Road is a large, two-form entry primary school in the North of Cambridge.
