Part Time Teaching Assistant (Mornings) job summary

Work Pattern: Monday – Friday term time, 8:45am – 12pm (16.25hrs per week, 38weeks per year). This is a fixed term temporary contract until end of August 2025, with the possibility of it becoming permanent.

This role could be added to the Preschool TA vacancy in the afternoon 12.30-3.30 (15hrs per week, for 38 weeks of the year) for the right candidate (Please see the Part time Preschool TA Advert) and note on application if you wish to be considered for both roles.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a child centred approach, experience of working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs would be beneficial
  • Is organised, creative and energetic
  • Relishes the challenge of working with pupils with special educational needs and want to have an impact on supporting their learning, social and emotional development
  • Has high expectations of themselves and others
  • Is reliable, hardworking and prepared to go the ‘extra mile’ for our children
  • Is enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the life of our school
