Teaching Assistant with Cover Supervisor duties job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our school community. This role is to support the learning of pupils within the school, to promote pupils independence, self esteem and social inclusion. You will give support to pupils, individually or in groups, enabling them to access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.

The post is to support pupils in UKS2 in the morning, so it is essential to have good maths and English skills. In the afternoons we would like additional support for pupils who have individual targets, so a knowledge of Thrive and ELSA philosophies would be useful.

There will be occasional cover supervisor duties and for this an enhanced rate of pay will apply.
