1:1 Teaching Assistant at Long Bennington Church of England Academy job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with a child on a 1 to 1 basis
We are looking for someone to join our friendly, supportive team, working as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant. You will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a named child, who has additional learning needs, supporting them in accessing the curriculum during their lessons, and with other activities they will struggle with.
This is a term time position, working 30 hours per week with 1/2 hour lunch, from 9.00a.m. and 3.30p.m., Monday to Friday. It will be a fixed term contract until the end of this academic year, linked to a specific child but with a possibility of becoming permanent.

The successful applicant will –
Have some experience in the care and/or education of children
Have some experience of working in an school setting
Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults
Be able to work well as a member of a team and on own initiative
