1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary
Yealmpton Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled 1-1 Teaching Assistant to be part of our incredibly supportive, hardworking and successful team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can provide a safe learning environment,
- Is flexible, organised and a team player,
- Is an effective communicator,
- Is able to develop positive relationships with children and parents,
- Has an understanding of SEND practices including EHC plans
- Has high expectations and understanding of pupils’ learning and behaviour.
Working 27.5 hours a week, 38 weeks a year (Term Time Only)
Monday to Friday 8:45am to 3:15pm with one hour unpaid lunch break
Applicants must have Grade C in English and Maths GCSE or equivalent, and preferably an NVQ2, or equivalent TA qualification.
