1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary
Start Date: asap
Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours/week, 39 weeks/year (full-time/part-time/job-share available)
Salary: NJC Grade C

We are looking for someone who ideally
- Has a strong understanding of child development
- Has experience supporting children with special educational needs, including adapting strategies to meet individual needs
- Has knowledge of effective early years teaching approaches, including play-based learning
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
- Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young children’s wellbeing and progress
The successful candidate will work as 1:1 support to facilitate the learning and development of a child in our nursery (and as they progress through the school) alongside teaching staff and other experienced support staff.
