1:1 Teaching Assistant

24 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time + 5 additional days)

Fixed Term contract for the duration the child remains in our school

We are seeking to appoint an
enthusiastic individual to support a child with special educational needs and
disabilities in lower KS2 at our small village school in Gipsey Bridge. The
successful candidate will be required to meet the needs of the pupil as
stipulated in the Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) under the direction
of the class teacher and SENCO. They will need to liaise with appropriate
individuals, including teachers, the SENCO, parents/carers and relevant
agencies.

Applicants should have achieved Grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent and experience of supporting children with additional needs,
primarily children with social, communication and interaction needs would be
advantageous but not essential. However, a willingness to complete further
training would be necessary.
