What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an ambitious, talented and committed Teaching Assistant who really cares about helping children to succeed.

We are looking for someone who is kind and reliable and has a passion for working in the classroom or one to one, is enthusiastic and builds rapport well with staff and students alike.

To be successful in this role, you will have a good knowledge of current practices on the best ways to support children’s learning and behaviour, promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. You will give 1:1 support to pupils so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement. Our goal is for every child to leave our school happy and successful, with memories that they will cherish and skills that are the foundation of their future learning.

You will join a welcoming and supportive team where everyone is committed to staff development and raising standards for all in an enjoyable, challenging and purposeful environment.

This is a temporary, part-time role for 22 hours per week (8.30am – 1.15pm, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year).
