1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Anthem Schools Trust. You’ll work closely with individual pupils who have special or particular needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally. Your support will be vital in encouraging independence, raising achievement, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individual children in accordance with their statement/EHCP or as directed by the teacher
  • Helping to plan, prepare, and deliver classroom activities
  • Promoting children’s physical, emotional, educational, and social development
  • Assisting with personal care and supporting children with special needs
