Bosley St Mary’s CE Primary School is looking for a caring, confident and committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 SEND support.

This is a short-term, fixed-term role starting after the October half-term break and running until Friday 18 December 2026.

The successful candidate will:

  • provide dedicated 1:1 support during the school day;
  • support access to learning, routines and classroom participation;
  • use clear structures, visual supports and agreed strategies;
  • work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and wider staff team;
  • respond calmly and consistently when additional support is needed;
  • encourage independence and positive engagement;
  • contribute to simple recording and monitoring of provision and progress.

We are looking for someone who is warm, dependable, calm under pressure and able to maintain clear boundaries.
