1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary

1:1 Teaching Assistant - Pre-School (15 hours per week, term-time only)
Supporting a child with specific medical needs - Training provided

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly pre-school team. This role involves providing tailored support for a young child with very specific medical needs, ensuring they can fully access and enjoy their early learning environment. This role is offered on a fixed term basis, tied to the funding received for the child.

About the Role:

  • 15 hours per week (term-time only)
  • Working closely with a child on a 1:1 basis
  • Providing care, encouragement, and medical support throughout the day
  • Following healthcare plans and ensuring the child’s safety and wellbeing
  • Supporting learning through play, routine, and positive interactions
  • Being a valued member of a supportive and dedicated team
