1 to 1 Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant, with experience of supporting pupils with SEND to work with a child/children with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis. This is a term time role, 39 weeks per year, working 30 hours a week, Monday - Friday 08.45 - 3.15pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being a good or outstanding classroom teaching assistant practitioner.
  • Continuous improvement of teaching and learning under the supervision of the class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Maintaining and raising standards under the supervision of the class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Tracking performance of the named child/children.
  • Leading by example to motivate and work with others.
