1 to 1 Teaching Assistant job summary
Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking to recruit an aspirational and energetic 1:1 teaching assistant to join their support team. This position is term time only, working 39 weeks per year, 30 hours per week and 08.35 - 15.35 each day. This role will be on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026 and will be reviewed throughout the school year if this is able to be extended.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting named pupils academically, socially and with aspects of personal care.
- Maintaining and raising standards under the supervision of the Class teacher, SENDCo and SLT.
- Tracking performance of specified groups of children.
