What skills and experience we're looking for
The Head teacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint 2 x Midday Supervisors to join our team to supervise care for and lead play with pupils at lunchtime. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, forward thinking and dedicated to working with children.
Within the role you will be responsible for:
- Supervision of children throughout the lunch period in the playground and dining hall;
- Managing behaviour in line with our schools code of conduct and policies;
- Handling minor first aid or securing assistance where required;
- Ensuring a smooth meal service including serving dinners, clearing and cleaning;
- Proactively developing the pupil’s social skills and encouraging purposeful play;
- Liaising with colleagues for an effective transfer from Midday staff to Teaching staff.
