Ad Astra is the smallest of the four schools within the TEACH Trust, and due to its cosy size, has a warm and nurturing atmosphere. Enwrapped with greenery, Ad Astra has the luxury of beautiful grounds, a large field, nature zones and newly refurbished play areas.

Its broad and balanced curriculum offers rich opportunities for children to discover and explore, as well as develop their skills and understanding across a breadth of subjects. Ad Astra has a diverse range of clubs on offer, both internal and external, which the children absolutely love to participate in. Its staff have very high expectations and do whatever it takes to enable Ad Astra's children to feel safe, achieve and succeed.

Children are at the centre of everything they do, and this has been recognised by UNICEF when the school earned Gold Level Rights' Respecting status in 2019. They are also a Gold certified anti-bullying school which also achieved the All Together Anti-Bullying award in 2021. Alongside this, the school embraces the values of growth mindset, which instils in all its children a confident 'can do' attitude and genuine love of learning.

What makes Ad Astra really special is its supportive close-knit community. The children, families and staff collaborate and work together in partnership to make Ad Astra a place where children can thrive.
