We are seeking to appoint a qualified, creative and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to support the development of P.E. across Parkfield School. You will deliver inspiring leadership that meets the needs of all professionals and learners. You will have a positive attitude of self improvement and a commitment to working alongside colleagues to share best practice, learn, reflect and improve. Does this sound like you?
Alongside this you will join the extended leadership team to support the Assistant Headteacher to ensure standards are maintained across KS3 or 4. The role would involve:
- Liaison with class teachers over escalated behaviour incidents
- Monitoring and incentivising students through the whole school rewards policy
- Supporting the SENDCo in quality assuring the in class provision for learners with additional needs
- Taking an active role in post 16 progression
- Track and support the whole school focus on attendance of pupils to include meeting with families to provide support
- Develop positive communication strategies with parents/carers
