Parkfield School, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Inclusion Manager to join the School as soon as possible.
Post: Inclusion Manager
Location: Parkfield School, Hurn, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 6DF
FTE Salary Range: MPS 1 – UPS3, £30,000 rising to a maximum of £46,525 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, full time
Contract Hours: 32.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

The Inclusion Manager will enable the students at Parkfield School to receive support for knowledge gaps by coordinating appropriate and specialised interventions.Literacy andstudy support skills, including guidance for all subjects, will underpin the role.The role will ensure achievement is maximised by strategically supporting social and emotional needs including attendance.
About the successful candidate
The successful practitioner needs to have the knowledge, skills and experience of teaching pupils with ASD/SEMH in the secondary phase, ideally in a specialist base or provision. You will lead and manage a small team of staff (under the direction of the Deputy Head) within the Inclusion Team and will have a key role in training and supporting mainstream staff, ensuring that the Inclusion team is a fully integrated aspect of the school.
The Inclusion Manager at Parkfield will want to make a difference. They will be ready for a challenge and will bring a wealth of innovative and outstanding ideas to engage all stakeholders. Our Inclusion Manager will be approachable and consistent; they will give and earn respect from our pupils, staff, parents and carers. They will embrace new challenges and have a vision for how they can quickly grow and establish solid practice that supports young people accessing the provision to thrive and, over time, re-integrate back into mainstream classes or move on successfully to more suitable environments.

A small but mighty school, our students range from ages 4-16 and we are situated away from the hustle and distractions of Bournemouth town centre in the calm and picturesque village of Hurn.
