Thomas Hall School,Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Head Teacher to start in September 2023.

Post: Deputy Head Teacher

Location: Thomas Hall School, Exeter, Devon, EX4 5AD

FTE Salary Range: Leadership Scale 12-L18

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31 August 2025

Contract Hours: 32.5 per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

Duties will include but not be limited to; leadership, managing staff, modelling best practices, systems and processes, assessments, pastoral responsibilities, safeguarding, staff development, curriculum, communications and corporate accountabilities.

About the successful candidate

You will be a passionate advocate of equality and committed to raising standards, raising aspirations and facilitating the real life chances of the next generation. You will be enthusiastic and determined and have proven leadership and management skills alongside effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate a vision and inspire others. You will have the ability to use data to understand target setting and track students progress have knowledge of management information systems in schools and have knowledge and experience of strategies to support students with social, emotional and behavioural changes.

About the Trust

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 17 academies in Devon, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
