Drake Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced HLTA to join the School from the 2nd September 2025
Post: [250430A] Head Cleaner
Location:Drake Primary Academy, Plymouth, PL2 2EN
FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C Pt 5-7, £9329.11 - £9,627.92 Acutal Annual Salary
Contract Type: Permanent / part time /term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)
Contract Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3 pm - 6 pm.
About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent Head Cleaner to join our cleaning team. We are looking for candidates that are friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated to ensuring our school is clean and well presented.

The ability to manage a small team of cleaners
Have a willingness to gain knowledge of health and safety procedures and precautions, including COSHH regulations and an awareness of health and hygiene procedures
Have a experience of general cleaning work
Have a willingness to observe the Code of Safe Working Practice for Caretaking and Premises (staff)
Ability to work independently and use own initiative, and work as part of a team
Have a willingness to participate in development and training opportunities
Ability to relate well to children and adults
