Actual Annual Salary Role 1: £19,242 - £20,891 Pro Rata

Contracted Hours Role 2: 17.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

The team at Marlborough Primary Academy are looking to recruit a full time HLTA to work in our EYFS/KS1 setting. The role will involve supporting the class teacher within a mixed YR/Y1 class. A knowledge of teaching Read Write Inc would be an advantage.

The 0.6 role is to work in our adaptive curriculum setting ‘Oaks’ and the right candidate will have a good understanding of SEND, and support pupils with additional needs.

About the successful candidate

The right candidate for the EYFS role will have experience in the early years, and understand the Early Years Framework. We would like to recruit someone who is confident to work independently with groups of pupils, leading sessions in all areas of the curriculum. The right candidate will be happy to work with our parents and communicate with them about their children’s progress.

To work in ‘Oaks’, the right candidate will have an understanding of children who require support to access the school curriculum. They will have an understanding of SEMH and cognition and learning needs. They will be warm and supportive; showing a good understanding of positive behaviour management and the TiS approach.
