Pilgrim Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Office Manager to join the School from July 2026.
Post: Office Manager
Location: Pilgrim Primary Academy, Oxford Street, Stonehouse, Plymouth PL1 5BQ
FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade E, Point 15-20, £30,024 rising to a maximum of £32,597, per annum pro-rata
Actual Salary: £26,718 rising to a maximum of £29,008 per annum
Hours/Contract: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), term-time only, 39 weeks per year
The Role:
A highly motivated and experienced Office Manager is sought for Pilgrim Primary Academy. The role offers variety, challenge and responsibility, working with the Senior Leadership Team of the School and the Executive Business Manager. The position would suit someone who is able to multitask and work accurately and efficiently under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
The Person:
We are looking for candidates who have excellent organisation and administrative skills and be able communicate effectively. To manage a busy school office including a team of administrators, working with financial and HR systems and processes, implementing and maintaining new office systems, taking minutes, handling correspondences and dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Training will be available for key duties.
- NVQ Level 4 in Business and Administration or equivalent qualification or experience
- Strong communication skills to exchange information with a range of audiences and professionals (e.g. staff, students, parents and other agencies.
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s with Mathematics and English - Grade C and above or equivalent
