Post: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HILTA)
Location: Stoke Damerel Primary School, Collingwood Road, Stoke, Plymouth, PL1 5PA
FTE Salary Range: Grade E pt 15-20 (FTE £31,015 to £33,673 per annum) Actual Salary Range: £22,080 - £23,972 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, part time, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Contract Hours:29.6 per week, Monday to Friday
The successful candidate will provide leadership release time to teachers and short-term sickness absence cover as well as running intervention and booster groups. We will be looking to work with the successful candidate to create an individual role that meets the needs of the children and the school whilst making the most of their individual strengths and skills.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Have experience of working as a HLTA in primary schools
- Be committed to providing the best educational opportunities and outcomes for all of our children

About the School
Stoke Damerel Primary Academy is a popular and successful school within the local and wider area. The children are aged 4 - 11 years old and we are a two form entry. Our children feel safe, cared for and well looked after. We have a strong bond with our parents as well as the community as a whole.
