An enthusiastic, well-qualified mathematics specialist to teach at all levels up to A Level Further Mathematics within a dynamic, energetic team. The role will involve working closely with the Head of Mathematics, deputising and taking responsibility for the co-ordination of a curriculum area. The department was rated outstanding by OFSTED in 2010 and thrives on continual development of its teaching and learning processes. Examination results are excellent and the subject enjoys a high status within the school. Currently 315 pupils study Mathematics in the sixth form of whom 85 also study Further Mathematics. The school has a newly built dedicated STEM block. Applications are welcome from experienced or newly-qualified teachers with leadership experience from other contexts. For candidates with PGCE credits, we are able to support the completion of an MA. Our admissions policy prioritises children of staff.
