A TRAINEE TEACHER OF THE DEAF (TMS/UPS)

0.6FTE Contract from January 2024

We
are looking to appoint a trainee Teacher of the Deaf to work at St. Paul’s
Catholic school.   The successful
candidate would be supported to complete the mandatory qualification for
Teacher of the Deaf.   Teachers interested
in this post must have three years teaching experience.   We are willing to accept applications from
teachers currently in their third year of teaching.

The
school has a ten place Hearing Impaired Resource Provision as part of its offer
to pupils with SEND.   The school also has
a Visually Impaired and Communication Resource Provision.   The Local Authority Sensory Department is
also based at St Paul’s.   This will
provide the successful candidate with a wealth of support and opportunity.
