From maintaining infrastructure and troubleshooting technical issues to managing projects and supporting cyber security, this is a varied and rewarding role for an experienced IT professional who enjoys both technical and customer-facing responsibilities.

You will also work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, building positive relationships and acting as the local representative of the Trust's IT Service Team.

  • Implement Trust-wide IT policies, procedures and cyber security standards.
  • Support telephony, AV systems, printers, classroom technology and specialist systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and Trust colleagues to deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Maintain accurate asset registers, documentation and system records.
  • Deliver training and guidance to staff where required.
  • Lead local IT projects and contribute to Trust-wide initiatives.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting a wide range of ICT systems, devices and software.
  • Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Has experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows, Microsoft 365 and server environments.
  • Can build positive working relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Can adapt quickly to changing technologies and priorities.
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and learning.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel between Trust sites when required.

Experience working within an educational environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
