We are looking for a Academy Receptionist and Administrator to provide efficient administrative support and a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, and visitors in a busy school environment. This role is for 30 hours per week for 39 weeks per year.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and pupils
  • Manage reception duties, calls, emails, and enquiries
  • Provide general administrative support to staff and senior leaders
  • Maintain accurate records and data systems
  • Support safeguarding, attendance, and school procedures
  • Ensure a welcoming, professional school environment
  • Pay range: NJC4-6 - £17,960.19 - £18,533.55 FTE: £25,185.00 - £25,989.00 30 hours per week - 39 weeks per year

    Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience (school-based desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines
  • Professional, calm, and friendly manner
  • Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
