What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an Accountant to join our respected central team at this exciting time at the Trust. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for for administering, preparing and processing transactions, maintaining up to date computerised records and making necessary accounting adjustments, drawing on knowledge of appropriate national accounting standards applicable to multi academy trusts.
The successful applicant will:
-Likely to have two+ years’ UK accounting and reporting experience.
-Experience of working within company law and Charities Act legislation.
-Thorough knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax legislation.
-Experience of maintaining and reconciling accounts for similar sized organisation.
-Experience of drafting reporting requirements of statutory and tax authorities.
-Experience of promoting excellent communication within a finance team.
