Achievement Assistant job summary

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups to help them access learning and reach their full potential.

Assist in the development and implementation of pupil passports and individual provision plans.

Support classroom activities under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, including preparing and managing resources.

Facilitate group learning sessions and deliver targeted interventions as needed.

Promote inclusion and positive behaviour, acting as a role model and encouraging cooperative learning.

Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.

Supervise whole classes occasionally during short-term teacher absences, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Support pre- and after-school learning activities as required.
