Achievement Leader for Music and Performing Arts job summary
We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and conscientious Achievement Leader of Music and Performing Arts. The successful candidate will be a specialist in teaching Music at KS3-4 and will be aspirational, showing a commitment to raising achievement through outstanding teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will :
- have successful experience of teaching music KS3 and KS4
- have successful experience of teaching a range of abilities
- be vibrant with high expectations of themselves and students
- be passionate about learning
- be caring and patient
- be able to work as part of a team
- be ambitious for their own professional and career development
- be able to motivate and enthuse students through a commitment to equal opportunities, regardless of background, Special Educational Needs or prior attainment
- be enthusiastic about wider school developments, including Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural Education
