Adapted Curriculum Teacher job summary
An exciting opportunity to work in an Outstanding School and make a real difference supporting children impacted by the pandemic.
We are looking for a friendly and experienced Primary class teacher to join our staff from September 2021 and play a pivotal role in helping our pupils recover from the disruption to their learning as a result of the pandemic.
Working across all year groups, you will lead, plan and deliver targeted sessions to small numbers of pupils within core subjects. This will mostly be teaching Key Stage Two children who are requiring adaptations to their curriculum to review and cement curriculum concepts from Key Stage One and early Key Stage Two. The role will require you to work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to support the learning of individuals and help to close gaps in their learning to enable them to access their age appropriate curriculum again.
The post is offered on a fixed term basis for the academic year 2021-22.
Hatfield Community Free School (HCFS) is an exciting, ambitious and innovative school, which opened in September 2012. We have been set up as a free school, which is funded directly by the Government and run by highly skilled Trustees as a Primary Academy.
We aim to develop ‘the whole child’, placing a huge emphasis not only on academic development, but also on the skills needed for life. We nurture children to develop their resilience, working from a virtues programme that helps them to become respectful members of their local and the wider community.
Commitment to safeguarding
Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.
Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
