We are looking for an organised and approachable Administration Officer to play a central role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of Isle of Ely Primary School, a welcoming primary school in Ely where children are encouraged to learn, grow and achieve. Working closely with colleagues, pupils, families and visitors, this varied role combines high-quality administration, effective communication and strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys building positive relationships, managing competing priorities and helping create an efficient, professional environment that enables staff to focus on delivering the very best outcomes for children.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative support, including word processing, data management and reporting.
- Deliver professional reception and customer service for pupils, families, visitors and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records, process forms and correspondence, and support compliance with academy procedures.
- Monitor and support key operational processes, including attendance, visitor management and safeguarding checks.
- Assist with meetings, events, communications, resources and other day-to-day school operations as required.
