What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of working in a busy office or administrative environment (school experience desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school systems (e.g. SIMS/Arbor – desirable)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience of handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A welcoming and professional manner when dealing with pupils, parents, staff and visitors
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to keeping children safe
  • Ability to follow school procedures and contribute to efficient office systems
  • Flexibility and willingness to support wider school operations where needed
