What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Admin Assistant to join our office team at The Portsmouth Academy.The purpose of this role is to provide a highly effective and efficient administrative service to the school under the guidance of the PA/Office Manager.
The successful candidate will have the ability to cope with conflicting demands and deadlines whilst working to tight deadlines in a methodical manner. You will consider ways of working and contribute to the planning and development of administrative procedures and systems.
The core hours of this post are between 8am - 4.30pm working Monday to Friday however this role requires flexibility including availability to support progress evenings throughout the academic year.

- Experience of working in a fast paced administrative role within an office environment
- Hardworking individual, quick to learn and motivated to deliver a high level of support
- Effective communicator both orally and in writing with the ability to build positive relationships with students and their parents/carers
- ICT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience of working within the education sector is desirable but not essential
