Salary: Admin Officer - D6, 25,989 pro rata per annum, 1:1 TA - D4, £25,185 pro rata per annum
Actual Salary: Admin Officer, £11,332 per annum, 1:1 TA - £2852 per annum
Contract: Admin Officer- Permanent/Part time, 1:1 TA - Temporary/Part time
End date: 1:1 TA - open-ended contract that will cease when the named pupil leaves Pitton Primary School or no longer needs support
Working hours: Admin Officer - 19.25 hours per week and 1:1 TA - 5 hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Working pattern: Monday to Wednesday, 9.00am to 12noon and 1.00pm to 3.25pm plus Thursday to Friday, 9.00am to 12.00noon plus 1.00pm to 2.00pm. Within that time each day, you will be required to perform 1:1 Teaching Assistant duties, three 20-minute sessions per day.

Please note: The two roles are linked and form part of the overall employment package. If an employee chooses to resign from one role, they will be required to resign from the other role at the same time.
However, if the 1:1 Teaching Assistant role comes to an end due to the pupil leaving the school or no longer requiring support, the Administration role will continue on its existing terms and conditions. In this circumstance, there will be no requirement to resign from the Administration role.
Job summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to undertake the dual role of Administration Officer and 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will provide effective administrative support to the school office while also delivering tailored support to a designated pupil to help them access learning and achieve their potential. The role requires excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to supporting children and young people. Working closely with school staff, parents and external professionals, you will contribute to the smooth running of the school and the wellbeing and progress of pupils.
