Administration and Communications Lead job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration and Communications professional to lead our school’s administrative team, oversee high-quality communications, and help showcase our school to the wider community.
Your opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated individual to lead our school's administrative team and support the production and creation of external and internal communications to effectively promote the school and to provide key information for internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role and leading teams, and experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous.This key role demands a proactive person with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of decision-making, team management, and fostering a professional, positive, and customer-oriented atmosphere for students, staff, and families.
You will need strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise your own workload and that of your team, and thrive in working in a busy and varied environment.
What we are looking for
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Knowledge of the education sector
- Ability to develop and maintain efficient record keeping/management information systems, providing accurate records and reports as required
- Excellent written and communication skills including the ability to tailor communication to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums
- Experience of working with senior managers/headteachers and other key stakeholders across an organisation
- Proven experience of supporting the delivery of processes and systems in a regulated service area
- Experience of leading a team/supervising the work of others

The Details
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Senior Specialist £33,426 - £35,350 FTE
Actual Salary: £30,968.21 - £32,750.74
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 42 weeks per year (Term Time + 3 weeks)
Contract Type: Permanent and Full-time
Closing Date: Monday 8th September at 9.30am
