Administration Assistant job summary
Administration Assistant - 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and 8.00am - 3.30pm on a Friday, term time only (38 weeks). Grade B - Step 1 Actual Annual Salary £20,790.49 (which is equivalent to a full-time salary of £24,796).
As part of our commitment to staff wellbeing RAISE Education Trust is trialling a two week half term break 19th to 30th October 2026. Following this trial, should the Trust revert back to a one-week October half term break from 2027 the contractual working weeks would increase to 39 weeks and the salary would increase accordingly.
Wildern School is looking to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our friendly, busy, office team. Experience of Excel, Word and Google Mail/Documents is essential. Must be able to relate positively to students and staff and be efficient, organised and calm under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Keep Year trackers up to date in Excel and Google Sheets
Maintain the school website
Maintain the school calendars that are displayed on website
Provide WP/Arbor support (training provided)
Deal with enquiries from staff and students quickly and efficiently.
Assist in maintaining an efficient filing system.
Hold a First Aid certificate and support/deputise for First Aid room as necessary.
Provide back-up support for Reception/staff absence.
Use Arbor to print timetables, reports, etc. as required.
Such other duties may be reasonably allocated or directed within the purview of the post.
Setting up the regular Wildern Assessments (WAD) for staff inputting
Collating and analysing the data from the students regular Wildern Assessments (WAD)
Creating charts and graphs for various data analysis
