What the school offers its staff
The school is particularly distinctive from existing local provisions as it works in dual partnership with its co-located mainstream school, Cleeve Park, wherever possible to maximise inclusivity of SEN students to mainstream education and providing access to mainstream teaching and shared facilities. Staff also benefit from partnership working, shared professional development and career development opportunities. Cleeve Meadow aims to ensure that all students have the maximum opportunity to participate fully in society to enhance their life chances. The support and guidance students receive from staff will give them the confidence to learn independently and strive to achieve. The school aims to be a centre of excellence for its students, parents/carers, staff, local authorities and the wider community.As an Administration Assistant, you will be working as part of a team in a busy office and will play an essential role in facilitating all communications and supporting the smooth running of the office. Not only will you be the first point of call for people contacting the school, but you will also be ensuring that daily tasks are carried out in a timely manner through monitoring requests. Essential:
Experience of working in a school office
Excellent communication skills
ICT Skills
Ability to relate well to children and adults
Work constructively as part of a team
Flexibility
Good organisational skills
Desirable:
First Aid training
Understanding of relevant policies/code of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
including safeguarding
Experience with Google Drive and associated applications
Experience in an SEN environment
